Individual Psychotherapy
with Adults
I offer Jungian-oriented and existential-humanistic psychotherapy, including dream interpretation. "Jungian-oriented" psychotherapy draws on the ideas of the Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung. This psychotherapy is a forward-looking approach that aims to support you on your journey toward greater wholeness and balance.
Dream interpretation is an important part of my work and can be a source of understanding and guidance. Of course not everyone remembers their dreams, and we can find similar materials through movies, arts, and literature. You may begin to recall dreams as the psychotherapy progresses.
By listening attentively, I help you connect with your inner self and aspirations, while also utilizing motivational interviewing to uncover your internal motivation for change.

Personality Testing and Discussion of Results
In the field, this is called Collaborative/Therapeutic Assessment. Discussing the results of personality testing is a brief therapeutic intervention in itself, and can provide a roadmap for one's future direction. I specialize in administering the Rorschach inkblot test and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), helping individuals uncover deeper self-understanding. Both of these instruments are personality tests: the Rorschach is a performance-based test, while the MMPI is a self-report measure. I use an evidence-based approach to the Rorschach inkblot test. These two tests provide different windows into your personality. We can do a brief assessment with discussion of the results, or a more comprehensive assessment and a written report, depending on your preference.
